Niamh Rockett's dad and brother both played for Waterford so it was always ultra competitive in the back garden when she was younger. One day, she ended up in hospital after a loose pull.
"It was like Croke Park out in the garden! I got a bang in the head and I remember I went down and I was pumping blood. My dad was saying 'get up there's nothing wrong with you!' I had to get stitches over my eye!"
Waterford will tackle Galway in the All Ireland quarter finals on Saturday evening at Semple Stadium. Rockett's family will be behind her all the way. "I don't think my father has missed a match. No doubt my aunt will have it on the big screen in her pub in Portlaw!"
