The Deise camogie team entertain defending champions Cork in Walsh Park at 5.30 in a controversial All Ireland championship fixture.

Earlier this week, the Waterford squad expressed their frustration to the Camogie Association as a change of date from Saturday to Sunday has left many players out of pocket.

Both sides are already through to the knockout stages. Table toppers Cork are on course for the semi finals while Waterford are guaranteed a quarter final place.

Manager Donal O'Rourke says that it's a pleasure to work with this group of Deise players; "they're just a special group of players that this county has come with, this is a really good team and the work that they put in is just unreal"

After a difficult week, Donal O'Rourke hopes that another big home crowd will turn out this evening.

Meanwhile, Waterford sealed their place in the All-Ireland Quarter-Finals after a resounding win away to Monaghan yesterday afternoon.

The visitors dominated from the first whistle and an Eimear Fennell hat trick helped Ciaran Curran's side to a 7-19 to 1-10 victory.

Maria Delahunty, Kelly Ann Hogan, Aileen Wall and Chloe Fennell also raised green flags for the Déise.
