Waterford FC and St. Patrick's Athletic go head to head this evening in the Airtricity League Premier Division.
The Blues have recorded victories over the Dublin side in their two previous meetings this season.
Alan Reynolds' side have suffered back to back defeats to Bohemians and league leaders Dundalk since the mid season break and will be keen to get a positive result in front of the home fans.
Waterford FC striker Dean Walsh told WLR Sport it's a vital game, "yeah it's very important, it'll be good to get back to the RSC and hopefully we can get the three points against St. Pats".
Dean says missing out on Europe at the expense of Pats will be a big motivational factor tonight.
Dean says not getting into Europe was tough to take, but that the squad have moved on.
