Jim Goodwin, the 37 year old Tramore native has agreed to become the new manager of SPL club St. Mirren.
Jim who led the Saints to League Cup glory in 2013 will sign a three year contact with the club. He has been the manager of Alloa Athletic for the past three years and he led them to promotion to the Championship in season 2017-208.
Jim said this morning that he was honoured and thrilled to be offered his new position.
He will be in charge of St Mirren next week when they play pre-season games here in Ireland.
