There were wins for Abbeyside, Tallow and Roanmore in the county senior hurling championship last night.
Goals from Michael Kiely, Mark Ferncombe and Sean Whelan-Barrett saw Abbeyside prevail 3-15 to 0-22 against Mount Sion at Walsh Park.
Two Kenneth Kearney goals proved crucial as Tallow beat Clonea 2-19 to 1-14 at Fraher Field. The Bridesiders struck the last seven points.
In the second game in Dungarvan, Roanmore defeated Fourmilewater 1-18 to 2-9. Emmet O'Toole netted a second half goal for the Sky Blues while county man Billy Nolan struck five points.
Later this afternoon, the second round of the County Senior hurling Championship continues with an much anticipated double header in Walsh Park
It's an all-Eastern affair in the opening game at 2pm as last year's beaten semi-finalists Passage and De La Salle go head to head.
In the second game, Dungarvan will tackle reigning champions Ballygunner.
