Paraic Fanning has made seven changes to the Waterford hurling team for this evening's Munster championship clash with Cork at Pairc Ui Chaoimh with six All Stars missing out.
2016 hurler of the year Austin Gleeson along with Stephen O’Keeffe, Noel Connors, Kevin Moran, Maurice Shanahan and Michael Walsh have all been omitted from the starting fifteen. There's two championship debutants, Billy Nolan and Darragh Lyons.
For Cork, Alan Cadogan gets the nod instead of Conor Lehane in attack.
The Waterford footballers are unchanged for Sunday's All Ireland qualifier against Westmeath in Mullingar. 46 year old keeper Darren Mulhearne retains the number one jersey.
