The Deise County Board confirmed last night that the Division 1-B game will be played at Semple Stadium on January 27th with a 2pm throw-in.
Waterford were found to have breached the rule surrounding the "club only" month of April, and Croke Park have fixed the game for Thurles advantage with the Faithful as Pauric Fanning's side will aim to commence their league campaign with a win.
Waterford's Allianz Hurling League v Offaly on the 27th January has been confirmed for Semple Stadium, Thurles with a 2pm throw in.

The Waterford footballers will also start their campaign the same weekend, Benji Whelan's charges welcome Wicklow to Fraher Field for their Division 4 opener on Saturday January 26th.
On the same day, De La Salle College will face Midleton CBS (Cork) in the semi-finals of the Harty Cup after Dermot Dooley's charges scored a hard fought win over a fancied St. Colman's last Wednesday.
