Waterford Triathlon Club members picked up several National Awards at the Triathlon Ireland Awards Night held recently at the Gibson Hotel in Dublin, with club member Kieran Jackson picking the overall prize in Triathlon Ireland's Super Series.
Kieran also picked 2nd overall in the National Olympic distance with Eoin Lyons picking up 3rd overall.
In the age group prizes club member Shane Scadding picked up 1st place in the Triathlon Ireland National Series, taking 1st in his age group in the Olympic Distance and Middle Distance National Championships.
Waterford Triathlon Club also picked the prestigious award of Race of the Year for the 2018 Airpower Hook or by Crook, a huge credit to the work of Race Director Martin Condon and Assistant Race Director David McConnell and all of the club members involved the organisation of the event in Dunmore East.
