Gailltír were crowned Munster Intermediate camogie champions for the second time in three seasons after they overcame Cork champions, Eire Óg in impressive fashion in Cashel this afternoon.
In difficult weather conditions, the Waterford champions settled well and stamped their authority on the game from the first whistle.
An Aoife Fitzgerald goal on the stroke of half-time gave Gailltír a 1-7 to 0-2 lead the change of ends.
It got even better upon the re-start as Annie Fitzgerald netted from close range as Gailltír pushed eleven points clear.
Eire Óg did pull a few points back, but the Dunmore outfit were comfortable and went on to secure a fine victory in the end, 2-10 to 0-6 the final score as Gailltír can now look forward to the All-Ireland series.
Áine Lyng claimed the player of the match award as captain Claire Dunne hosited the Trixie Toomey Cup in Leahy Park.
Speaking to WLR Sport, Claire said it's brilliant to win another Munster title.
