Waterford full-back Barry Coughlan has confirmed to WLR Sport his retirement from inter-county hurling career at the age of 28.
The Ballygunner native manned the full back position, and spent six seasons with the Déise squad winning a National League title in 2015 when Waterford defeated Cork at Semple Stadium.
Barry also received an All-Star nomination last season as Waterford reached their first All-Ireland Final since 2008.
