Waterford FC suffered a narrow 1-nil defeat to Shamrock Rovers in this afternoon's Airtricity League Premier Division encounter at a packed RSC.
Gary Shaw scored the only goal of the game to move Rovers within 4 points of Waterford in third.
Blues manager Alan Reynolds was disappointed afterwards.
Alan told Matt Keane he was amazed that Courtney Duffus wasn't given a penalty in the opening period when he went down in the penalty area.
The Blues will have to pick themselves up as they head to Limerick next Friday, that one kicks off at 7:45 in Markets Field.
