Waterford FC had to settle for a point against Bohemians at the RSC.
Bohemians took the lead after 31 minutes, Dinny Corcoran scored with a glancing near-post header following a corner kick out on the left taken by Kevin Devaney.
Waterford took over after that and Bastion Hery equalised for the Blues on 64 minutes. He picked a ball up just inside the half-way line before taking off on a mazey run down the right flank. With Rory Feely and Izzy Akinade waiting for a cross, Bastion decided to strike the ball himself, and the ball flew into the far corner of the net.
Noel Hunt, Dessie Hutchinson and Noe Babe all make their debuts for the Blues in front of 1,831 fans.
The Blues remain seven points clear of 4th placed Shamrock Rovers who drew away to Cork City.
All over at the RSC and it’s honours even.#Loi #WFCvBOHS
