Waterford U-21 Hurlers seek a place in the Munster Final this evening when they face Cork in Pairc Uí Chaoimh.

The Déise narrowly lost out to the Rebels at the same stage last season and can can call on Senior panel members Peter Hogan, Conor Prunty and Darragh Lyons althought Conor and Darragh are carrying injuries

Waterford are under the stewardship once again of former Minor and U-21 All-Ireland winning manager Sean Power who told WLR Sport Cork are deservedly strong favourites:

"They're a team that play in a very standardised Cork fashion, which is move the ball very fast...we're going to work hard and see what we can get out of it."

Waterford will be calling on the likes of Billy Nolan, Jordan Henley and Peter Hogan and Sean Power says these players will be important

He says reaching a Munster Final would give the county a massive lift:

"We didn't have a fantastic year from a hurling perspective this year...but I'm hopeful our guys can win on Wednesday and push it forward and maybe make the summer that little bit longer for Waterford supporters from the hurling fraternity."

Throw-in at Pairc Uí Chaoimh is at 7:30pm, WLR will broadcast the game live thanks to George Corbett Skoda, with commentary team Kieran O' Connor and Tomas McCarthy
