Waterford FC have cemented their European football hopes for next season by defeating St Patrick's Athletic at the RSC last night.
St Pats were reduced to 10 men after just 15 minutes when their central defender Kevin Toner was sent off on a straight red card.
Waterford took the lead 10 minutes into the second half with a Courtney Duffus header from close range.
Izzy Akinade finished off a pass from Duffus on 75 minutes to score the second goal of the game.
