Manchester United can join Liverpool on points at the top of the Premier league table later, they take on Aston Villa tonight in their first game of 2021
Jack Grealish will be in opposition - a player they're already being linked with as the January transfer window opens.
Grealish looked set to move to Old Trafford in the summer - but the deal never materialised.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows his team must keep Grealish quiet in order to secure a winning start to the new year; "he's a player that we know we have to look for, we've faced him enough times that we know it's going to be a difficult game".
Before that, Everton start the new year with the chance to go second in the Premier League when they take on West Ham at Goodison Park later this afternoon.
There'll be no fans at the game after the Liverpool City Region was moved to Tier 3 coronavirus restrictions earlier this week, kick off is at 5.30.
