Any talk of moral victories after the Munster final won't be tolerated in the Waterford camp according to manager Liam Cahill.
He was proud of his side's display against Limerick last Sunday but says that they must be more ruthless against Clare on Saturday.
"This crack of 'great performance' and 'well done' and 'god ye did well to hold them to that', that's lethal in a set-up. That cannot be let fester here. Ultimately, it's about winning matches. When you give yourself the opportunity we got on Sunday, with fifteen minutes to go, and not being able to close it out is disappointing. When you put yourself in these positions, this team has to learn that they have to close out matches like that and kick on and win big games and win tight games."
