The Taoiseach said last night that the All-Ireland Championships will give people something to look forward to.
As the country prepares to enter level-5 restrictions from midnight on Wednesday night, elite sport will continue.
That will be welcome news to Waterford hurling fans, who can now look forward to an Under 20 semi-final on Bank Holiday Monday.
It emerged last night that Waterford's opponents will be Tipperary after the All-Ireland champions beat Clare in Semple Stadium.
Having looked to be in a spot of bother at half time when behind by 10 points to 6, Tipperary surged past Claire in the second half to finish with 1 goal and 19 points to Claire's 12 points.

The other semi-final will see Cork versus Limerick next Monday night after their 14 point win over Kerry at Austin Stack park.
