Pauric Mahony (Ballygunner) will captain the Waterford Senior Hurlers for 2020 with Conor Prunty (Abbeyside) as Vice-Captain.

Mahony has been a team regular and key influence in attack since debut in 2011, and had another solid season with his club as the Gunners landed their sixth County title in a row.
Conor Prunty had an excellent debut season with dominant displays and will be keen to carry that form into 2020.
The Déise who are under a new manager in Liam Cahill will play their first compettive game in the Munster hurling league on December 29th, with a home tie against Cork in Fraher Field.
Waterford's league campaign begins on January 26th with Cork visiting Walsh Park for the opening round clash.
