Waterford FC dropped two points at home to Longford in front of a packed RSC last night in the Airtricity League First Division.
In what was the first game of the new season, the Blues hit the front after just six minutes when Darragh Lynch scored an OG. Despite taking the early lead the hosts failed to press on as Longford grew in confidence.
Stephen Henderson's side got their just reward on 56 minutes when they equalised through a Mohammed Boudiaf header.
A frustrated Waterford boss Danny Searle spoke to our own Ray Scott after the game.
The Blues welcome Galway United to the RSC next Friday night (March 3rd) where kick-off is at 7:45pm.
90+5' FULL TIME at the RSC and it's a point for Danny Searle's side after a 1-1 draw against Longford Town.
