The countdown is on to the start of what's set to be another fiercely competitive Munster Senior hurling Championship.
All roads lead to Thurles on Sunday afternoon as Waterford tackle All-Ireland champions Limerick in the opening round.
Limerick recently captured the Allianz league title in impressive fashion with a 2-20 to 0-15 demolition of Kilkenny. Waterford picked up two wins (against Laois and Antrim) and drew with Dublin in their league campaign as Davy Fitzgerald's side look to cause a big upset this weekend.
The sides played on a mammoth battle at the TUS Gaelic Grounds last season with the Shannonsiders eventually coming on on top, another big battle in store in Sunday, the man in the middle is Liam Gordon from Galway.
The Waterford Senior Hurling Team to play Limerick in Sunday's Munster Championship has been announced!
Best of luck to Manager Davy, the management team, Captain's Jamie & Stephen and all the players.
