There was success for Waterford over the weekend in the Irish Amateur scene as Richard Flynn won the Anthony Quinn Memorial tournament in Newbridge.

The tournament is a big event annually on the Irish snooker calendar and this was the first time it was held since before Covid.

Flynn defeated Mark Gleeson in the final on Saturday to claim the trophy.

He spoke to Gavin Whelan on last night's "On The Ball" programme.
