Schoolgirls soccer is flying high at the moment both in terms of the Waterford U-16 inter-league squad and Bohemians (at U-16, U-17 and U-19 level).
Last weekend saw the Waterford Schoolgirls league side capture the Munster title by virtue of a 2-nil over the Desmond League from Limerick in the decider at Cahir.
The squad now turn their attention to the National Shield Quarter-Final against Kildare in three weeks time.
Meanwhile, it's some time to be involved with Bohemians at the minute as they are in top form across three grades, U-16, u-17 and U-19.
Bohs qualified for the Munster Cup Final last weekend following a resounding 6-nil win over Regional United.
This weekend is the turn of the U-16's who face Connelly Celtic from Clare in the Quarter-Final of the SFAI Cup.
On last night's "On The Ball" programme, Waterford captain Keira Burke, Elle Kavanagh and head caoch Ian Barrett chatted to Gavin Whelan about the incredible run that they are on the moment.
