Waterford maintained their unbeaten run in the Allianz NHL with Sunday's eight point win over fourteen man Antrim at a windy Fraher Field.

The Déise were down some key players through injury as Davy Fitzgerald gave fringe players an opportunity with Conor Ryan and Gavin Fives getting their first league starts.

Patrick Curran netted the goal from the penalty spot following a foul on Neil Montgomery, as Austin Gleeson once again showed his class upon his introduction in the 2nd-half, he ended with five points (4 frees).

The Waterford boss was pleased with the result but wasn't happy with certain aspects of the performance when he spoke to WLR Sport at the full-time whistle.
