An Taoiseach Simon Harris has pledged to "get the job done for Waterford".

He was speaking to WLR News during his visit to the Dungarvan Show on Sunday.

In a speech, he said: "What we need now is for everyone to stop talking down the South-East and start getting behind it. As  your Taoiseach, I will be a Taoiseach for the South-East."

He added: "We have so many exciting projects we are going to deliver - better cardiac care, investment in the university, Waterford Airport. We're going to get the job done for Waterford."
