Waterford has already been named the best place to live in Ireland - and efforts are underway to ensure Waterford becomes the best place to grow old in.
It's all part of the Age Friendly Programme, which is being run in collaboration between Waterford City and County Council and Waterford Older People's Council.
Our WLR News team are speaking to various people in Waterford to learn more about what's happening.
This month, Kieran Foley has been chatting with Orlaith Carmody, Business Consultant to Age Friendly Ireland, who outlined details of the Age Friendly Business Recognition Programme.
