On today's (Sept 27) Waterford at 1 lunchtime news, Waterford remains in a Status Orange weather warning, the largest drug seizure in the history of the state has been confirmed, and preparations ramp up for the Ryder Cup which takes place in Rome this week.

• Storm Agnes is making its way across Waterford as the county remains in a Status Orange Weather warning. Dungarvan Fire Services have responded to reports of fallen trees and power lines. There has also been multiple reports of flooding across Waterford city and county.
• The Gardaí have completed the largest drug seizure in the history of the state on a cargo ship off the South coast.
• Europe will take on the United States in Rome this week in the Ryder Cup.
