• Four men have appeared in court charged in connection with the €157m drug seizure off the coast of Cork last week. There was a heavy Garda presence outside the Mallow District Court this morning.
• The Government have remained committed to the long-awaited engineering, computing and general teaching building in SETU's Cork Road Campus.
• Brickeys have progressed to the County Football Championship quater finals after their win against Portlaw last night.
