On Waterford at 1 lunchtime news (Oct 25th), a 10 megawatt solar farm is proposed for the Pickardstown area, Waterford has yet to receive additional funding following the fire at Wexford General, and Waterford FC drew with Athlone last night in the first division playoff first leg.
- A 10 megawatt solar farm is proposed for the Pickardstown area of Tramore, which would consists of 71, 500m2 of solar panels with the capacity to export a maximum of 10 megawatts to the National Grid.
- Waterford has yet to receive additional health funding which was promised following the fire at Wexford General, which over whelmed the local ED department.
- A one-all draw was the outcome of the first division playoff first leg between Waterford FC and Athlone last night.
