Almost two years ago now, construction began and roads were closed to facilitate Tramore's public realm works.
At present, the paving works on the junction of Broad Street and Queen Street are ongoing and road closures are in place.
While Strand Street, Lower Strand Street, Turkey Road, and Gallwey’s Hill will be closed to traffic from next Monday, November 15th.
At last month's Metropolitan Council meeting, it was revealed that the cost of the project is set to exceed the original budget by €300,000 and is now estimated to cost in the region of €2.4m.
