Taoiseach Mícheál Martin will be among those addressing the global leaders gathered at the COP27 climate summit today.
At the summit in Sharm-el-Sheikh in Egypt, the Taoiseach is expected to outline Ireland's continued commitment to increasing its contribution to international climate finance to support those impacted most.
Antonio Guterres, Secretary General of the UN, has already warned that the clock is ticking and that the fight against climate change will be won or lost within this decade.
