A Fianna Fáil Councillor has responded to claims that the Mayor of Waterford was partaking in stroke politics.
Adam Wyse has said it was Sinn Féin who were the ones partaking in the activity.
There were heated exchanges at a recent meeting of the local authority this week, with changes to how the meetings are conducted introduced by the Mayor of Waterford.
The Mayor of Waterford proposed at a recent meeting, that the Management Report, which hears a wide range of local issues, will be heard last instead of near the start of future meetings.
Sinn Féin profusely rejected the proposal, calling it an act of "stroke politics".
