An information meeting was held in Clonea Power last night (Wednesday) to discuss plans for a controversial solar farm in the area.
In May, conditional planning permission was granted by Waterford City and County Council for BNRG's 141 hectare solar farm subject to 22 conditions.
WLR attended the meeting in Clonea Power Parish Hall and this piece begins with Julia Drohan, local resident and member of Clonea Power/Mothel Solar Farm Action Group who outlined the purpose of the meeting to Kieran Foley.
