Episode 10 - Education Is Key

In this, episode 10, Education Is Key is the final episode. We discuss the importance of education, not only for school-going children but for all generations, about the threat we all face due to global warming. Aoibhin visits Ballycurran national school where the students and staff have undertaken several greener initiatives including an outdoor classroom (below) and water butts. Bernadette Kirwan from Ballybeg Greens talks about the education programme that they run. We hear from  Glor Na Mara secondary school teacher Patrick Kirwan who is passionate about educating all generations about the climate emergency. He will stop at nothing until he sees major changes being undertaken. Finally, Tazneem Khan tells Aoibhin about Sea School which she has set up here in Waterford.
