Lyndsey Power joins Maria once a month to deal with your questions. Lyndsey is a Dog Behaviourist, Trainer and Groomer. She runs her business Inn The Doghouse at Witches Lane Ballinaneeshagh.

Among the questions Lyndsey answers is how to prepare your dog for Halloween/Firework season. This is always a tricky time for our furry friends who can become very frightened of the loud noises associated with the season.

Bernard McLaverty has a new book out..

Maria also spoke to Bernard McLaverty, who's latest book Blank Pages & Other Stories is just out. Bernard has been previously short listed for the Booker Prize in 1997 for his novel Grace Notes. He's also the author of Midwinter Break from 2017. Bernard has been much lauded and  Hilary Mantel wonders why  he's 'not celebrated as one of the wonders of the world' by way of a review for Blank Pages & Other Stories.
