The True Cost of Fashion at Waterford Central Library is running until December 6th and explores many topical themes from fast fashion to sustainability.

Every Year Irish people dump 63,000 tonnes of textiles into landfill - which equates to six Eiffel Towers!

Climate change is certainly the major global news topic, as the COP26 talks continue. Tying in with these issues, Waterford Sustainable Living Initiative (SLí) is running the installation to raise awareness of our impact on the environment.

The True Cost of Fashion is a collaborative idea with the Youth Advisory Climate Council (YACC) and explores ways in which we can build a sustainable future.
