Unsinkable is a new award-winning documentary film by Waterford’s Emagine and Alan Corcoran.
The movie follows Alan Corcoran’s unprecedented 500-kilometre length of Ireland charity sea swim and has all the hallmarks of a fascinating documentary. With the stunning backdrop of Ireland’s wild coastline, the story tells the succession of challenges faced during such a monumental undertaking.
Raising €30,000 for the Solas Cancer Support Centre and Irish Heart Foundation in memory of his dad, Milo, it’s a film that explores Alan’s journey through grief, using the swimming project to channel negative emotions into a meaningful, hopeful, inspiring adventure.
See the film at Garter Lane arts centre Waterford on Saturday night at 7.30
