Production has finished on Bláth na hAoise, narrated by Carrie Crowley, its an innovative and heart-warming documentary that will centre on the Déise Day Care Centre, Dungarvan. This landmark bilingual observational documentary reveals what it is like to be old in Ireland in the 21st century and will follow a year in the life of one of the busiest centres in the country catering for our older generation. It will feature some of our most loved older relatives, neighbours and friends as well as those who put so much of their time and energy into making the centre the amazing service it is. It will showcase the local community and surrounding areas and capture the gorgeous scenery, including the Comeragh Mountains and sea views, for viewers all over Ireland and further afield.
There will be a special screening in Dungarvan next Friday September 15th with all kinds of surprises for the invited guests, there's huge excitement about the event as Maggie told Geoff on Thursday last on the Lunchbox!
