On this week's Hot Desk, Darragh Molloy spoke with Ella Ryan, Environmental Awareness Officer at Waterford Council to discuss the deposit Re-Turn initiative, and why the circular economy is becoming increasingly more important for businesses.

Off the back of the launch of the 2024 SuperValu Food Academy Programme, Darragh was joined in the studio by local business owner Mícheal Ó Cadhla, on his experience with the Programme, and how business owners across Waterford can get involved, and apply.

And he was also joined by Waterford’s latest winner of the Student Enterprise Award, Maebh Dimond - and her unique business offering which helps promote the Irish language through sustainable sources.
