Waterford sees highest percentage jump in new car sales for 2021

The Society of the Irish Motor Industry has released its official statistics, which show new car registrations up 19% nationally (and up over 28% in Waterford) between 2021 and 2020.

However, the figures are down over 10% nationally when compared to 2019.

Tramore based Tom Cullen is Deputy Director General of SIMI and he joined me to discuss the finer points of car sales.
