Whiskey bottling company expands in Kilmacthomas
On this week's Hot Desk, I featured W.D O'Connell Whiskey. The independent whiskey bottling company is this week moving into its new premises at the Workhouse in Kilmacthomas.
The premises sits on over 18,000 square feet and will be installed with a maturation house containing blending casks and bottling lines.
I spoke to Daithi O'Connell, the company founder. He discussed his own background, and explained why he chose Waterford to set up.

To mark this great haul of awards, Faithlegg House Hotel held a special event for the winners. I went along and spoke to some of the producers.
Konnektable Technologies CEO speaks to The Hot Desk
The software company has chosen Belview in Waterford as its global HQ.
In a statement Konnektable said the decision was made on the basis of the excellent infrastructure, the positivity of the business community and the quality of highly educated graduates and post-graduates in Waterford.
I spoke to CEO Angelos Liapis, who told me that Konnektable is currently hiring.
