The Hot Pod - a new sauna in Clonea
For this week's Hot Desk, I was in West Waterford on Saturday where I met Dee Flavin. She and her husband Ed have just set up a sauna, The Hot Pod, on Clonea Beach Lower Carpark.
While there I also interviewed Beth-Ann Smith of The Lismore Food Company about their hamper range for Christmas, and about the positive upturn in business that Lismore has seen of late.
An online children's clothes shop based in Waterford
I also spoke to Waterford-based Karen Borley, about the new online children's clothes business Apple of My Eye, that she's set up with her sister Sinead.
She spoke about her background in retail and how it's always been something she's wanted to work in.
Enterprise Ireland Climate fund for businesses
And with the COP26 climate talks still ongoing, I caught up with Aidan McKenna of Enterprise Ireland about the Climate Enterprise Action Fund for businesses.
