Ciara Hennebry Consulting
I caught up with marketing expert Ciara Hennebry, founder of Croia Ireland. Croia has been a huge success and Ciara connected with many businesses through the platform. So, she has just established a new business, Ciara Hennebry Consulting. This offers a suite of solutions and guidance to marketeers. Ciara also discusses some of her key takeaways from the past 18 months of the Pandemic.
The Waterford Harvest Festival
This year's event runs from Monday September 6th right through to Sunday 12th. It will celebrate all that is great in terms of wining and dining in Waterford City. Ahead of that, Festival Co-Director Shell Holden tells me that she hopes the 2021 Waterford Harvest Festival is a way of reinvigorating hospitality in Waterford. She reminds us that the area is considered one of the top foodie destinations in the country.
The Book Resort expands its business with a new van
The Book Resort was founded by Aisling Finn almost two years ago. The platform is primarily a subscription service. Those who sign up receive a monthly package containing a book and some Irish gift products. However, the offering has now expanded to include once-off boxes too, with the same emphasis on local and Irish. Aisling was excited to tell me about a new addition to the Butlerstown company. She's added a branded delivery van, which also involves making a new hire.
Toys4Engineers is back in the Autumn
The hybrid event run by Waterford Chamber, now in its 5th year, will take place from September 27th to October 1st. Gerald Hurley, CEO of the Chamber, tells me that this year's Toys4Engineers will cover a cross section of industries, with 'Meet the Buyers' sessions, digital showcases, speaker conferences, recruitment, exhibitions and more.
