Three-time Olympian and European medalist, Thomas Barr, announced his retirement yesterday at the age of 32.
The 32-year-old 400m hurdler from Waterford won a bronze medal at the 2018 European Athletics Championships in Berlin.
In doing so, he became the first Irish male sprinter to win an outdoor European medal in the 84-year history of the event.
Fintan Walsh has been proudly tracking Barr's career since his early days.
He joined Ollie and Dymphna on air this morning.
