Demand for Irish milk and Irish dairy products is at an all-time high.
This comes as National Milk Day was marked on Saturday, January 11th.
Last year, butter accounted for 26% of Irish dairy exports due to an increase in the value of butter.
This saw the value of Irish dairy exports sitting at €6 billion.
In recent weeks, the heavy snow and freezing conditions saw the role of the Irish farmer make national headlines.
