Listen Back to 'A Night In November' on Showtime
Listen Back to 'A Night In November' on Showtime. Fionnán 'Fatz' Dunphy joined us in studio to tell all.
A Night in November" is a compelling one-man play written by Marie Jones. The story follows the journey of Kenneth McAllister, a middle-aged Protestant working-class man from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Kenneth is an ordinary man leading a mundane life until a life-changing event turns his world upside down.
Fionnan 'Fatz' Dunphy plays Kenneth. Fatz is well known to audiences in Waterford. He started his career over 30 years ago like so many in the chorus of De La Salle College. It wasn't long before he joined with Bryan Flynn and Stage Fright. He appeared in their inaugural production of 'Grease' in 1991.
Since then Fatz has become a recognisable comedy performer. He features regularly with the Bilberry Goats. Younger listeners may recognise him from his Panto performances every Christmas.
David Hennessy has produced and directed countless shows over the years. Award winning productions of Les Miserables, Cats, Bonnie and Clyde and Starlight Express are but a few of the shows he has been involved with.
The award winning team of David Hennessy Musical and Dramatic Society and Fatz Dunphy promises a great night in the new venue 'Bank Lane'.
