Listen back to Michael Power on Showtime. Michael has written his first play. It is a one man play called 'Going Back' and will be staged from July 12th to 15th in Theatre Royal, Waterford.
Michael is no stranger to one man plays. Previously he has performed 'The Good Thief' and 'The Attack' as solo efforts. However - this is the first time he has written a play.

We chat about Michaels career from the early days selling insurance. He reluctantly went into 'Tops of the Town'. Even more reluctantly he ended up in 'The Hired Man' and several other local productions.
We talk about 'The Gods are Angry Mrs. Kerr' by Jim Nolan and why this is so important to Michael.
The big decision to give up his job and become a professional actor followed. Since then he has had a varied and rewarding career on stage and screen.
