Meet Patrick O’Sullivan, the talented writer hailing from Tramore. He has been a prominent figure in the UK theatre scene since 2005, during his 10-year tenure at the Queens Theatre Hornchurch and subsequent 5 years in London’s West End. Today, he stands proudly as a vital part of the executive team at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton.

Patrick is here with a new musical, born in Waterford, inspired by the tale of the Mount Sion Choir. This heartwarming Irish story, filled with hope and unity, unveils the transformative power of music.

Also working on the musical is Steven Markwick, the esteemed composer and lyricist. A recipient of the prestigious Vivian Ellis prize, Steven's work includes "The Secret Garden," which enjoyed numerous successful runs, notably in Krakow for over two decades. Additionally, he has served as a Musical Director for various UK Theatres, including Greenwich Theatre, where he has overseen the pantomime since 2006.

The 'New Musical For Waterford' takes to the stage on Thursday August 31st. It costs just 6 euro to support this new work.
