There's a move on to help the hair and beauty sector make significant savings by adopting environmental practices. The sector across Ireland has launched a new sustainability Strategy Action Framework.

In this week’s Ours To Protect reporter Clodagh Walsh hears about the initiative. She speaks to the Local Enterprise Office, to sustainability consultants, Change by Degrees and hears how one Waterford Salon had made the move to "green”.

Ours To Protect is a collaboration between WLR and the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland, and is financed by Coimisin na Meán with the Television Licence Fee.
