The story of West Waterford Golf Club has been growing for thirty years and that success story started with a vision by Pat & Nora Spratt to convert a successful dairy and apple farm into a parklands golf course.

The current members are celebrating WWGC 30th Anniversary with its “30 Years on The Go Classic” and a host of other Anniversary Celebrations. The Classic runs from Thursday 24th August to Saturday 2nd September and is sponsored by The Old Bank Dungarvan and Tirlan.

On Sunday 3rd September, Lady Members play for the Bernie Twomey Memorial Trophy and the Gents play for the Pat Murphy Trophy – a fitting way to end a weeklong celebration as Bernie and Pat were the first Club Captains.
