Waterford face Limerick on Sunday in the opening round of the Munster Hurling Championship.

John Kiely's Limerick come to the game as league champions and begin the defence of their Munster and All-Ireland crowns.

Waterford meanwhile exited the league at the group stage and will be looking to make it out of Munster for the first time in the round-robin format.

Former Captain Brian Flannery has been thinking about how it all might play out in Semple Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
